Look, I know that having an electric toothbrush is certainly the best thing for my teeth so decided to invest in one. Went to my local shopping mall to go buy one and I was well and truly stumped with how many different variations there are and this is not now an easy decision to make. So I was wondering if you might be able to give me some advice, like what features should I look out for and is it best to buy a cheaper one or are only the expensive ones any good?

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
As you say, there are many different types of electric toothbrush available. Although I cannot recommend particular brands I can give you an idea of the features that different brushes may have and then that way you can select the elements that you think will work best for you and then find a brush that matches these requirements.- Easily exchangeable brush heads so the whole family can use it whilst still having their own attachment.
- A well-known brand so that it is easy to buy accessories, refills, etc. from almost any cosmetic or electrical shop.
- A timer so that you know you have brushed your teeth for the recommended time scale.
- Pressure sensitive to ensure that you do not damage your teeth by pressing on too hard.
- Comes with a range of add-ons so that you can manage every aspect of your oral health.
- Good battery life so it does not need charging too frequently.
