At my dental clinic there is an orthodontist also working on site. When I discussed that I would like to have a brace to straihten my teeth my dentist referred me to the orthodontist in our practice. At first I was happy with this because I trust the recommendation and felt secure because I know the practice well. When I had my meeting with the ortho I learned that they only offer the one fixed option. Now you can have clear attachments on which is slightly better but I really had got my sights set on one of those clear aligners that you can pop in and out. My friend Penny has one and you can barely even tell shes wearing anything. Should I stick with the comfort of my own clinic or should I venture out to get what I want? Its hard to trust new clinics. What do you think?

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
It is possible to search the Invisalign/Align website to locate clinics that are recommended by the brand. There are also Platinum Providers that have met the criteria to gain this title by completing a set number of treatments successfully. Using this bank of trusted professionals, you are sure to find a clinic in your local area that could provide the Invisalign Treatment you would like in a safe and successful manner. Alternatively, you could ask your current clinic if they could recommend another clinic that offers clear aligner treatment. I personally would not advise accepting a treatment just because you do not want to attend a different clinic. I totally understand you may feel daunted by finding a new one, however, with all the available resources to tap into this should not cause a problem for you. It cannot hurt to at least investigate. Best of luck to you.
