I am pretty low on funds at the moment but I do have a little stashed away. I was hoping that I might be able to afford a set of basic veneers to sort out my ghastly teeth. They are stained in places and some teeth appear longer than others, not by a huge difference but I would still say its noticeable. So basically I have a bout fifteen hundred pounds and perhaps could scrape a little more together. Doi you think this would be enough to get my smile looking better? I doubt it could get much worse lol. Thanks.

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
If you are wanting the whole of your smile zone veneered, then it is unlikely that fifteen hundred will be enough for the full set. Usually the smile zone consists of about ten to twelve teeth which could potentially all need veneers. With this in mind you do have options. These are:
1. You could opt for a composite bonding treatment instead. This is where white composite materials are sculpted over the teeth to correct chips, cracks, stains, and uneven teeth. This procedure is much cheaper than having veneers. Prices for composite veneers start from around four hundred pounds.
2. Alternatively, you could potentially have the veneer treatment done and take out a dental finance plan. This could potentially be 0% interest and could be spread over one to five years. Maybe this is something you may want to find out more about.
Once you have found a clinic that you think is reputable then you could book in for a consultation to discuss all the options they could offer you. Best of luck to you.
